| November 2013 |
Wow, where have the last few months gone? I know... Jeremy and I have had the same conversation every year toward the end of September. The conversation always focuses on the fact that once our anniversary rolls around at the beginning of October then the rest of the year will fly by like usual. This year of course was no exception. After celebrating our eleventh anniversary we moved right into Addi's birthday, then Jeremy & I's birthdays, hunting season, Thanksgiving, Christmas Festivities and right on to the end of the year. Is it to much to ask for life to slow down just a little bit? Looking into what lies ahead just in the next few weeks a little life slow down doesn't seem possible. So the best that we can hope for is to be able to enjoy each of life's precious moments the best we can. The ability to be able live for the moment and try not to wish the time away or look to much for what is awaiting us in the future.
We ended 2013 in one of the best ways possible, spending time with family! This year we decided to spend New Year's Eve with my sister and her husband hanging out and celebrating at their home. After an evening of yummy snacks and lots of laughs Aubrey decided to end her year by getting the loose tooth that has been driving her nuts for a few weeks out...

She was successful! I think a big part of her success was the fact that Uncle Andy offered her $5.00 if she got the tooth out before leaving his house! Aubrey was excited to make a little money! What a fun way to end our evening.
Now that it is 2014 the girls and I have enjoyed our New Year's Day by hanging out at home, cuddling, and playing with more of the toys the girls received from Christmas. Jeremy is off at his annual guys "football watching" day. My prayers and hopes for everyone this new year is that you are able to enjoy life in the moment and not constantly be looking for what lies ahead.
